WHAT'S ON OFFER

You don’t need any specific abilities to join Woking Art Society. Whether or not you paint, draw or sculpt, we offer an opportunity to meet with friendly people who share a common interest in the visual arts.

We meet monthly in Knaphill, usually on the first Saturday of the month, when there are demonstrations by experts working in every type of medium and on a variety of subjects.

If you are keen to learn more, your work can be appraised and you can attend workshops run by professional artists.

If you’re looking to get your work noticed, you’ll be eligible to show it at all our exhibitions* and through a personalised mini-gallery on the Society’s website. As our website has very good internet search visibility your mini-gallery will likely appear among Google’s top results when searching for the artist's name.

Last, but not least, you’ll receive a quarterly newsletter that, in addition to information about the Society and its activities, contains members’ news, details of competition opportunities and art-related general interest articles. The latest edition of Broadbrush is available to download HERE.

* Sales generated through Society exhibitions incur a commission of 15% (30% for the Spring Exhibition) payable by the artist. At some events hanging fees and stewarding commitments are also required.
