We need help running the demonstrations at Dramatize Community Hall/The Vyne each month. Support us by filling one of these roles...
TEA ROTA ORGANISER
The task is to organise four volunteer helpers at each meeting and make sure we have adequate supplies to provide hot drinks and biscuits for members during the half-time break. As we have no cupboard storage at The Vyne,all supplies must be brought in each time, along with two storage boxes containing two teapots and two small electric kettles.
PROJECTOR OPERATOR(S)
Similarly, the camera and projector equipment used for demos can’t be stored on the premises. So, we need a volunteer or, ideally, two people to share responsibility of taking care of the equipment and bringing it to each meeting – it's kept in a large wheelable holdall. You will also set it up and adjust the camera as necessary during the demos – full training will be provided.

DEMONSTRATIONS
Our programme of nine demonstrations each year is planned approximately 12–18 months in advance.
We invite professional artists to give two-hour, in-person demonstrations at our monthly meetings, held at the Dramatyze Community Hall (formerly The Vyne). We seek artists from across the South East of England and usually contact them directly through their websites or social media accounts.
We also use the services of 'Art Profile' to source demonstrators.
The programme offers a wide variety of artistic styles and techniques, including oil painting, watercolours, coloured pencils, acrylics, pastels, lino printing, mixed media, inks, and charcoal.

5th September Linocut print making – Will Dyke
WORKSHOPS
Three workshops are also included in our annual programme. These are held at Brookwood Memorial Halls and are led by a professional artist.
Each workshop lasts six hours, giving participants the opportunity to paint or create alongside the artist while receiving expert guidance and tuition. Workshops are open to both members and non-members.
